Europe
Rain. Hunger. The long night.
EPISODE ZERO IS A CONCEPT CURRENTLY IN DEVELOPMENT
From the novel Usoni by Dr. Marc Rigaudis.
The year is 2062. The sun no longer reaches Europe. Water is scarce. The world people once knew has collapsed.
Ophelia, a pregnant woman of Kenyan heritage living in France, and her partner Ulysse must escape a continent trapped in darkness. Beyond the borders and across the sea lies Africa — where the sun still shines, rivers still flow, and life remains possible.
Guided by Felix, they risk everything for a chance at the one thing Ophelia refuses to surrender: a future for her unborn child.
In OPHELIA, the direction of migration is reversed. The sun becomes a promise on the other side of the world.
Rain. Hunger. The long night.
Sunlight. Water. The promise of tomorrow.
For Ophelia, survival is no longer only about herself.
In a collapsing world, every drop of water carries weight. Every departure is a risk. Every small act of love becomes an act of defiance.

Concept frames, scene development and visual studies from the world of OPHELIA.
OPHELIA is based on Usoni, the science-fiction work by Dr. Marc Rigaudis.
The book imagines a future in which Europe's skies go dark and people journey toward Africa to survive. Its reversal of migration challenges how we think about belonging, environmental injustice and hope.
